Plenty of self-proclaimed dominants (regardless of gender) take things like that for granted. Really, who wants to be taken for granted in a relationship? Some fantasize about being taken for granted, but in reality, it doesn’t work for most people.

But it seems too often that lots of people try to pass off laziness or selfishness as dominance. “Oh, I don’t like doing housework. You do it.” That doesn’t come across as d/s to me.
