I agree with this except for the last bit. At least on Denver’s Craigslist, there are plenty of penis photos in the “m4m” section.

Places like Craigslist and Alt are filled with closeted bisexual men. On purely gay male sites like Recon you see face and/or full body photographs.

I agree, bluntly slamming a naked picture into someone’s face hardly makes a good opening.
I guess there is a time and a place to get “a little more hardcore”, but it’s definitly not when saying “hi” for the first time.

Unlike men we have been denied public photos of mens genitalia. A pornographic magazine aimed at women here in Oz had to stop publishing such photos as they were deemed obscene.
