I hadn't thought of <b>faux "femsubs"</b>. No surprise really. I had a friend who was overall a fine guy but like to bait men in chatrooms by pretending to be a teenage girl.

I've seen phony F/m blogs develop some strong followers: the authors are usually expressing primary fantasies and needs.

I came across a female submissive blog last night that I think is fake. As I read the entries that appealed to me I was left with the distinct feeling that the essence of reality was missing and by the time I had finished I felt quite disappointed and irritated.

My response has given me an insight into how submissive men can spot a fake femdom site. We all have an understanding of how activities feel in reality and how they feel in fantasy and it is the disquiet that we feel when the match is wrong that sparks our suspicions.

The usage has probably shifted over time. Women may have unconsciously reacted to whatever negative connotations the term acquired.

If I wouldn't sound like a pervert I might call the local Victoria's Secret and ask about the word.

I've heard women use it (my grandmother I think), but I can't stand it myself. I call 'em "underwear."

Panties would always give the game away.

In one of our papers last year there was an article on how for women panties is the most loathed and disliked word. So bad is its reputation that the makers of pantyliners have discretely dropped the word from their product.
